Caylin Dadeo-Winick

Job Title:

  • Enterprise Account Manager at Atlassian, Masters of Arts in Counseling student at St. Edward’s University

Experience: Caylin Dadeo-Winick has been involved with Girls Empowerment Network since 2010 when she was a high school student and ClubGEN Leader. Upon returning to Austin post undergrad at Siena College, Caylin immediately joined Girl Advocacy League, eventually joining their leadership team and volunteering as often as possible with Girls Empowerment Network.

Outside of Girls Empowerment Network, Caylin has worked in various capacities in the Austin tech community since 2017, striving outside of her day job to connect companies and folks in tech with Austin’s nonprofits. Caylin is also working on completing her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Edward’s University. She hopes to work in private practice, and aims to build and deliver programs designed to promote psychological safety for women in the workplace – like a Radiant G Circle, but for adults.

What I love about Girls Empowerment Network: Girls Empowerment Network was one of my earliest steps into a life of service. From leading ClubGEN in high school, to serving in AmeriCorps as a Bonner Service Leader in college, to continuing my education in counseling and joining the Girls Empowerment Network board, I have a lot to thank this organization for! I love how welcoming, kind, and supportive the staff and board are, so it’s no surprise that the programs are continuously successful in helping girls build their confidence and self-efficacy, too.
