How We Are Celebrating Our 25th Anniversary

Have you heard it is our 25th anniversary? Girls Empowerment Network will celebrate this milestone birthday all year long! Our anniversary theme of advocacy and activism has been incorporated into all of our programs and events. Our goal is to empower 5,000 girls to believe in their ability to advocate for positive change in 2021. Check out what we have planned in order to achieve this goal:

Unstoppable Activist Spark Kit (at-home kit) - available 24/7
For girls in grades 6 - 12 anywhere in the nation

Girl Connect and girl groups (in person and virtual) - ongoing
For girls in grades 3 - 12 in Texas (in person) and anywhere in the nation (virtual)

Connectline (phone or text) - Monday - Friday from 9 - 5 pm CST
For girls in grades 3 - 12 anywhere in the nation

Spark Change Project--This special new program is offered in collaboration with the Excellence and Advancement Foundation and will be running events all year, with a team of teen girls in key leadership roles!

Spark Change Project Town Hall (virtual) - March 31st from 5 - 7 pm CST
For girls in grades 9 - 12 from anywhere in the nation

Spark Change Day (virtual) - May 15th from 1 - 5 pm CST
For girls in grades 6 - 12 and the adults who care about them from anywhere in the nation

Camp (in-person) - July 12th - 16th and July 26th - 30th from 9 am - 4 pm CST
For girls in grades 3 - 8 in Central Texas

Pathfinder (in person/Houston, Texas) - August 2nd - 6th from 10 am - 4 pm CST
For girls in grades 9 - 12 in Houston

Spark Change Camp (in person/Austin, Texas) - August 2nd - 6th from 9 am - 4:30 pm CST
For girls in grades 9 - 12 in Central Texas

Girls Are Unstoppable Committee (virtual) - Ongoing March 24th - October 20th
