Youth Ambassador Council
The Youth Ambassador Council (YAC)
The Youth Ambassador Council (YAC) is a group of young people who will give feedback about Girls Empowerment Network programs to ensure their relevance to girls in grades 3-12. While serving as advisors, the YAC members will also create and implement a community project of their choice with the support of staff. Members of YAC will be involved as advisers that connect with Girls Empowerment Network a few times a year for advice and feedback on programs. They will be involved directly with recruiting program participants, volunteering with programs, and contributing to the Girls Empowerment Network mission.
