What GENaustin is Thankful For This Thanksgiving
We wanted to share just a few of the many things we at GENaustin have to be thankful for this year:
Rachel, clubGEN Program Manager:
The opportunity to work with such an amazing group of committed, loyal, strong, passionate, hard-working, supportive, and hilarious women!
Harley, the Boxer/Pit mix who serendipitously found her way into my home and into my heart this fall.
Grams, my 91 year old grandma who has been kicking breast cancer’s butt for over 10 years!
Amanda Villareal, Outreach Specialist
GENaustin’s prioritization of being inclusive and to provide calculated support to girls and parents from ALL backgrounds (particularly, Spanish-dominant families!)
The resources we have for our clubGEN girls.
Staff members’ obvious commitment to our mission in every action.
Celeste King, clubGEN Campus Coordinator
I’m thankful for all the amazingly funny, smart and sassy girls I get to have in clubGEN all week. Also, I’m thankful for my dog and all the amazing meals I ate this year.
Maria Geary, Marketing Specialist
The wonderful women of GENaustin, along with all the volunteers and supporters who invaluably contribute to our mission of encouraging and empowering girls.
Everyone who donated to our We Are Girls scholarship drive.
Christmas Milk season!
Ani Mirasol, 180 Program Manager
I’m thankful for our amazing staff and volunteers who make working at GENaustin such a delight.
I’m also thankful for my loving partner, cuddly, stinky, and super weird dog, and gluten free bakeries.
Hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving this year!
