Part of our teaching curriculum is creativity where girls use their imagination for art and STEM activities. Creativity is also one of our Six Cs that work together to create self-efficacy.
9 Tiles offers us the opportunity to reflect on our values and interests, express them creatively, and share them with others. We are bombarded with ideas about who we should be and what should matter to us. Taking time to get to know ourselves will allow us to make decisions that align with what is important to us and connect with others in an authentic way. 9 Tiles - All About Me!

Materials Needed: Paper, pen or pencil, optional: Colored Pencils, Markers, Crayons
Divide your paper into 9 tiles. Each tile will mean something different and you can show it however you want- words, pictures, symbols, there is no right or wrong.
Divide a piece of paper into number of squares that you decide by folding it into thirds one way and then the other or by drawing lines Fill each square with something that represents you based on these questions:
What’s your favorite food?
What does your family look like?
What do you like to do for fun?
What’s your favorite color?
What’s your favorite animal?
What do you love about yourself?
What’s your favorite place to go?
What is something other people don’t know about you?
Make up your own question and answer it!
You can use words, pictures, symbols, or whatever you want!
