Education:

  • Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from University of Houston - Main Campus

Experience: I was an intern for Girls Empowerment Network in Summer 2019. When my internship ended, I stayed connected as I really enjoyed my time and continued as a volunteer. I worked for another non-profit and it made me realize how much Girls Empowerment Network meant to me and how this path was right for me. I have always enjoyed working with children and having a positive impact on them. My experience with children has mostly been in school setting but I was a volunteer for Texas Children's Hospital.

What I love about Girls Empowerment Network: I love the mission behind Girls Empowerment Network. Ever since becoming an intern, I have always said and will continue to say that I would have loved to have this for myself when I was younger. I believe that all girls deserve and need to have an organization like Girls Empowerment Network that helps ignite what is already within themselves. I feel very blessed to be able to work with amazing people and an amazing organization.
