Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Public Relations

  • Business Foundation Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin

Experience: Natalie, started out her journey by studying public relations at The University of Texas at Austin. During her studies she found her love of photography, design and digital marketing. She also found a passion within the non-profit world, where has worked, volunteered and held chair positions with organizations like Kids in a New Groove, Pease Park, Vela, Ladysmith’s of ATX and others. Before starting at Girls Empowerment Network, she owned a digital marketing firm where she created branding, websites and marketing strategies for small local businesses. Her vision to support an organizations growth through digital marketing and compelling design tactics, gives her an edge by using both her creative talents and analytical skills.

What I love about Girls Empowerment Network: As a young girl I had one of the strongest support systems, from my mother a first-generation Latina who holds an engineering degree, to teachers who saw my potential before I did, to mentors who inspired me and helped propel me forward. It was the village around me who helped, motivated, and believed in me so I can be as successful as I am today. I am inspired daily by what Girls are doing for those girls who may not have the support system like I had, so they too can realize just how powerful they are!
